Wonderful had it's 1st Festival for woman that love travel, Wanderfest! It's the 1st of many! The event had wonderful guest speakers: Oneika Raymond, Oneikathetraveler.com, Patricia Schultz author of "1000 Places to See Before
You Die", and Native America female Chef Crystal Wahpepah from Oakland, Cali where she has the 1st Native American owned restaurant in California, just to name a few. But the real highlight of the festival were the amazing volunteers that I worked with. These wonderful women are passionate about travel and sharing their love in so many unique & beautiful ways!
It was 3 days of nurturing each other's spirits in our mutual love of travel. This genuine budding of friendships and networking will give birth to new travel ideas and opportunities for each of us and many other women that love travel. We are better women having crossed each other's paths, now joined to forge new paths.
Now to get ready for next years Wanderfest we mentally plan for year two with renewed energy and ideas. Look for many of us to return next year as vendors. Stay tuned for 2023 dates!
